PEIMS Student Accelerated Education Plan

Menu path: From the Registration menu, choose Entry & Reports, choose Student District Defined, and then select PEIMS Student Accelerated Education Plan.

This page lists the data collection for Student Accelerated Education records to support TEA reporting requirements for TREx in 2023-24 and for PEIMS in 2024-25. Each student that fails to achieve at least satisfactory performance on each assessment instrument administered under Section 39.023, Education Code must be provided with supplemental instruction for no less than 15 hours or 30 hours for a student whose performance on the applicable assessment instrument was significantly below satisfactory, as defined by commissioner rule.

Accelerated Instruction records are held within the Academic Status section of the old and new TREx reports. Students can have one or more records for each school year. Each unique combination of School Year and Subject is tracked in a separate record. A separate Security Resource is created for the PEIMS Student Accelerated Education Plan district-defined page.
