EMIS Literacy Instruction

Menu path: Select Administration, then General Setup, District Defined, and choose EMIS Literacy Instruction.

This page reports the R-<varies> attributes used to capture the core curriculum and instructional materials for English language arts in grades pre-kindergarten through five, and the reading intervention programs used in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve. If using multiple products, districts should be able to add multiple records. This needs to be reported to initial, midyear, and final student collections.

Description

Fiscal Year

Select the fiscal year for which the literacy curriculum or reading intervention information is being reported.

Curriculum Name

Select the name of the core curriculum or reading intervention program used. If multiple products are used across grade levels, add a separate record for each product.

Curriculum Type

Select the type of instructional material being reported. This typically identifies whether the product is a core curriculum, supplemental resource, or reading intervention program.

Curriculum Status

Select the current implementation status of the curriculum or intervention program. This indicates how the product is being utilized during the reporting period.

From Grade Level

Select the lowest grade level in which the curriculum or intervention program is used. This should reflect the starting grade covered.

To Grade Level

Select the highest grade level in which the curriculum or intervention program is used. This should reflect the ending grade covered.
