PEIMS Building
Menu path: From the Administration menu, choose Registration Setup, choose Building District Defined, and then select PEIMS Building.
You must create a record for a building if the building is recognized by the state as an official Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP) or Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP).

Use Student Building for Staff | Select if 090 Staff Assignment (Staff Download), 300 Course Section (Course Download) and 305 Teacher Class Assignment (Staff Download) records should be created using the Entry/Withdrawal buildings for students taking a particular course, rather than using the building where the course-section is scheduled. Use this to report a course-section that is scheduled in a building that does not have a State Code Equiv assigned. |
Account Campus for EOC Precode | Select if the EOC Precode or STAAR Precode report will use this building instead of the student's Entry/Withdrawal building. This only applies if the student has this building as Campus ID of Accountability on the PEIMS Demographics page for the date when you run the report. If you select this field and the student does not have a Campus ID of Accountability as of the report's run date, the software will use the Entry/Withdrawal building. |
Do Not Generate 020 | Select if the building should be excluded from 020 Campus Data records created through the PEIMS Edit File option. |
W/D Form Signature Label | Signature label to print on Withdrawal Form report. |
T-STEM Academy Building | Select if the building is a T-STEM Academy. This setting calculates the T-STEM Indicator Code (e1559) for students. |
Early College HS Building | Select if the building is an Early College High School. This setting calculates the ECHS Indicator Code (e1560) for students. |
First Case Choice Code (e1575) | Indicates the first choice of three of the eight community and student engagement indicators for the Texas public school accountability systems ratings under TEC 39.0546. |
Second Case Choice Code (e1576) | Indicates the second choice of three of the eight community and student engagement indicators for the Texas public school accountability systems ratings under TEC 39.0546. |
Third Case Choice Code (e1575) | Indicates the third choice of three of the eight community and student engagement indicators for the Texas public school accountability systems ratings under TEC 39.0546. |
CASE Rating Criteria Link (e1578) | Internet website link to the Community and Student Engagement (CASE) ratings criteria that are used by the local education agency and campuses to determine the ratings for the LEA and campuses per TEC 39.0546. |
NSLP (e1591) | Indicates whether the building participates in the National School Lunch Program. Submission 1 - Fall |
| PK Full Day Waiver Indicator (e1646) | Indicates the building has been granted a waiver exempting PK Full Day services. This is reported in Submission 3 (Summer) for the TEDS School complex type. |
| New Tech Indicator (e1647) | Indicates the building is a New Tech Network campus. This is downloaded in Submissions 1, 3, and 4 based on a student's enrollment in this building (101 record). |
