Full Year Schedule and No Average Rule Scenario

On this page:

The following rules apply when a building has full-year courses, or a combination of semester-length and full-year courses, and does not use the average rule.

  • Credit is issued on a semester mark.
  • Each course in the Master Schedule that prints on a transcript must have this mark type.
  • Credit calculates on the local course and moves to the state course when you run the Build Course Equivalency option.
  • On the PEIMS Course page, every course must have a course sequence code where the length matches the number of semester marks that the course issues. For example, a full-year course with two semester marks could have a sequence of 12 to indicate sequences 1 and 2 of a state course.
