Copy Security Profile Procedures

The following tasks describe how to copy security profiles for users and roles. These tasks are completed on the Security Profile Page.

Copy resources from another user profile to selected user

Select Administration > Security > Users > Security Profile.
Display the user's security profile by searching for the user and then clicking the Login ID link.
Click Copy, and then select Copy Resource To....
In the Copy User Resources window's From Profile field, select the profile to copy resources from.
Click OK to copy and save the security resources. The page refreshes to display the updated profile.
Review the resources. If you make changes, save the user's security.

Select Administration > Security > Users > Security Profile.
Display the user's security profile by searching for the user and then clicking the Login ID link.
Click Copy, and then select Copy Resource From...
In the Copy User Resources window's Login field, select the profile to copy resources to.
Click OK.

Select Administration > Security > Users > Security Profile.
Display the role's security profile by searching for the role and then clicking the Login ID link.
Click Copy, and then select Copy Resource To....
In the Copy User Resources window's From Profile field, select the profile to copy resources from.
Click OK to copy and save the security resources. The page refreshes to display the updated profile.
Review the resources. If you make changes, save the role's security.

Select Administration > Security > Users > Security Profile.
Display the role's security profile by searching for the role and then clicking the Login ID link.
Click Copy, and then select Copy Resource From....
In the Copy User Resources window's Login field, select the profile to copy resources to.
Click OK.
