Course Equivalency Calculation Page

Use this option to build course equivalency records based on the Course Equivalency Definitions for your building. The Course Equivalency Calculation creates Master Schedule and mark reporting records for the state courses and transfers marks and absences from the local course records to the appropriate state courses. For more information on course equivalencies, refer to Overview of State Course Equivalencies.

Run Course Equivalency Calculation

  1. Select Mark Reporting > Utilities > Calculations > Course Equivalency Calculation.
  2. Specify the calculation options.
  3. Click Run.
  4. Use the Tasks/Reports options on the Navigation bar to view task status and retrieve reports.

Description

Building

Select the building for which you want to build course equivalency records.

School Year

Select the school year for which you want to build course equivalency records.

Run Calculation For

Select whether you want to run the build for the selected year only or for prior years and the selected year.

Select:

Only for Year - to build course equivalency records for the selected year.
Everything Through the Prompted Year - to build course equivalency records for all prior years through the selected year.

Amount to Log in Statistics File

Indicates the level of detail to include in the log file.

Select:

Log Errors Only - to include errors that occur during processing in the log file.
Log All Activity - to include messages for all processing in the log file.

Task Name

Specify the task name to use when you run the option. The specified name will also be used as the log file name. By default, the name Build Course Equivalency is used.
