DEX Framework: Improved Handling of Delete Operations Based on Dependencies

We have enhanced the delete processing logic in the DEX framework to ensure better alignment with dependency rules in the state ODS.

• Delete events are now processed in the correct dependency order - from the lowest-level records up to the highest.
  (For example, StudentSectionAssignment and StaffSectionAssignment delete before Section.)

• If a delete cannot proceed due to an unmet dependency in the state ODS, the error will now be clearly displayed in the Errors section of the DEX dashboard.

• Failed deletes will automatically retry every 10 minutes for up to one hour.

• If the record still cannot be deleted after one hour, it will remain in error status, allowing users to take actions.

eSchoolPlus: Student Demographics

The logic is updated for generating Staff Section records to ensure they are correctly produced for courses with students from multiple buildings. With the revised filter using only Section Key and Staff ID, any additional records will now pull NumberOfStudentsInClass and MonthlyMinutes from the TX_090 record of the master schedule building.

DEX Framework: New Student Records Summary Tab

A new Student Records Summary tab is now available in DEXCloud to help review and manage all data for a selected student in one place.

This update includes:

• Clickable Student Names in student related resources now open a unified summary view.

• Centralized Student View displaying all published, dependent, errored records for the chosen student.

• Record Actions - Each item supports Details, Republish, and Delete consistent with the main dashboard.

Student Scoped Publishing:
Republish Current Records - When clicked, republishes all successfully published records displayed on the page.
