EMIS Student Acceleration

UI Changes:

• Added a new archive page (EMIS Student Acceleration - Archive) to display the old setup with existing data.

• On the EMIS Student Acceleration page:

  • The Value field has been removed and replaced with a checkbox.

  • The page will now show one row per subject, with a total of five subject area codes (A, C, M, R, S).

Note: Data migration can be done upon request.

Report Changes:

• The Accelerated Level Count (FB070) is no longer required.

• FB070 has been replaced with a filler in the report layout.

• Existing logic for report generation remains unchanged.

ESP-104222

Test History by Student

Added the Test Area Code Override option to the Student Test Detail page for the Tier 1 Dyslexia Screener. This option is available as a dropdown menu and displays values from the existing Tier 1 Dyslexia Screener validation table.

This update affects the Assessment Download process and FA205 (Assessment Area Code):

• The Assessment Download will verify if the test record has an overridden Assessment Area Code.

• If the field is blank, the system will use the DS Test Area Code from the EMIS District page.

Updated the Test Score Import Definition layout for the following interface:

• Interface ID: OELCS

• Description: Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment - CSV

Four new columns for Alt-OELPA Modality are added at the end of the current import definition layout.

Run EMIS Submission File Extract

FL060 now has a defined set of valid values. If an invalid value (for example, one present in FS100 but not in the valid list) is selected, the following error will be displayed.

Error message: The Withdrawal Reason Code is invalid in the FL record.

Graduation Requirements

Added the OST Scaled Scores to be displayed on the Graduation Requirements page. Positioned at the end of the current layout, a view-only field showing the Ohio-AIR Scaled Score.

Graduation Requirements

Integrated Mathematics I and Integrated Mathematics II are now included in the graduation exam logic for the graduation year 2023 and beyond. Previously, only Algebra I, Geometry, English II, Biology, American History, and American Government were considered.

Updated the logic to determine whether a student Took all required exams by verifying:

• Math:
  Student must have scores in either

  • Algebra I and Geometry or

  • Integrated Math I and Integrated Math II

• English:
  Student must have scores in both English I and English II

• Science:
  Student must have a score in either Biology or Physical Science

• Social Studies:
  Student must have scores in both American History and American Government

All four groups are required to satisfy the condition.

As part of EMIS Change 26-65, added two valid options to the Other Follow-Up Status element:

• A – Contact attempted, no response

• R – Contact made, refused

SEBT Submission

Updated the Summer EBT eligibility to consider only the student's Meal Status code (DC, FR, or RE), removing the end date requirement. Students with an eligible status at any time during the year will now be included in the Summer EBT file.

Student/Course Download (Organization General (DN))

Updated the logic to exclude the STUKGLFREE, STUKGLRCED, STUKGNFEES, and STUKGTUITN elements from getting processed in the Midyear and Final collections. These elements will now be processed only for the Initial collection window.

EMIS Student Attribute - No Date

Removed the Tier 1 DS - Parental Consent field validation from the Dyslexia record logic. This field is no longer considered when retrieving the Dyslexia records.
