HB410 and Attendance Criteria Calculation

Updated Ohio attendance criteria to support At-Risk of Chronic Absenteeism and Chronically Absent thresholds.

• Added At-Risk of Chronic Absenteeism and Chronically Absent panels to the HB410 screen, following the Transferred Attendance panel.

• Added Chronic Absenteeism % to the EMIS District Defined Page (Screen 600). Districts can enter the percentage that triggers the Chronic Absenteeism notification.

• Updated the At-Risk threshold to 10% of the Default Instruction Time.

• Added automatic identification of students who meet the Chronically Absent criteria based on 10% absence (less than 90% attendance).

• If Default Instruction Time is not configured, the At-Risk calculation is not performed for the student, and the application error log records an error.

EMIS Submission File (FM)

Updated the Student Detailed Attendance (FM) Download for active students with an open Student Standing (FS) record.

• FM090 – Effective End Date is now dynamically populated with the Report Run Date in CCYYMMDD format.

• FM090 is no longer left blank or populated with 00000000.
