Report Card View Setup - Alternate Language Page

Use this page to enter alternate language translations for the text and labels defined as part of a report card view. For information on how to set up and generate report cards in multiple languages, refer to Printing Alternate Language Report Cards.

Enter alternate language translations for report card text and labels

Fields

View Definition Panel

Field	Description
Building	Displays the building for the view setup.
Grade	Displays the student grade for the view setup. DF - Default indicates that the view is used for all grades that do not have a grade-specific view setup defined.
Report Card Run	Displays the report card run for the view setup.
View Type	Displays R - Report Card. Alternate language translations are defined for the R - Report Card view type, not for the S - Report Card Summary.

Language Selection Panel

Field

Description

Alternate Language

Select the language for which you are translating text.

Translations can be entered for languages that are defined with the Alternate Language checkbox selected in the Languages validation table.

Alternate Language Descriptions Panel

This panel displays sections for the areas of the report card for which text or labels can be translated.

Grading Scales Section

Field	Description
Alternate Language Description	Enter the translated text for the grading scale's label.

Attendance Section

Field	Description
Alternate Language Description	Enter the translated text for the Print Title field for the attendance total.

Report Card Text Section

Field	Description
Alternate Header Text	Enter the translated text for the report card header text.
Alternate Footer Text	Enter the translated text for the report card footer text.

Programs Setup Section

Field	Description
Alternate Language Description	Enter the translated text for the program field's label.

Test Scores Section

Field	Description
Alternate Language Description	Enter the translated text for the test score's label.
