Mark Reporting Reports

Mark Reporting Reports are divided into three folders: Progress Reports, Report Card Reports, and Transcript Reports. This topic provides a brief summary of each report to help you identify those you need to run.

Progress Reports

Report Option

Description

Comment Usage

Allows you to review how often specific comments have been used for a course on progress reports. You can select up to 15 comment codes. The report lists either the number of times each comment type was used or the percentage that the comment usage represents. The report also includes the total comment usage for the building and a comment key for the selected comments.

Mark Summary

Prints mark, attendance, and comment information for the selected progress run date for students who have received specific marks. You can print the values for up to 20 types of marks, comments, or absences. Additionally, you can select to print either only the courses where a selected mark was received or all courses for a student who received a selected mark.

You can use this report to generate a list of students who are receiving a failing mark.

Missing Submission

Identifies missing submissions for progress reports. A course is listed if the teacher has submitted no information for the progress report run. You can select to email teachers who have not submitted information for progress reports.

Print Progress Reports

Prints progress cards to distribute to students. The progress report is formatted based on the Progress View Setup defined for your building.

Verification Sheets

Prints the progress marks, comments and absence information that have been entered for students and can be distributed to teachers for verification purposes.

Report Card Reports

Report Option

Description

Classwork Average Report

Prints a list of students who have a classwork average equal to or below a specified threshold for a single category or all categories.

Comment Usage

Allows you to review how often specific comments have been used for a course on report cards. You can select up to 15 comment codes. The report lists either the number of times each comment type was used or the percentage that the comment usage represents. The report also includes the total comment usage for the building and a comment key for the selected comments.

Competency Missing Submission

Identifies missing submissions for student competencies. A teacher's competency group is listed if the teacher has not submitted any grades for individual students assigned to the competency group.

Competency Verification Sheet

Prints the marks, comments, and absence information entered for student competencies. The report can be distributed to teachers for verification purposes. Students are sorted by student ID by default.

Honor Roll

Lists students who have either made or not made honor roll. You also can calculate honor roll based on the honor roll setups for your building.

Mark Usage

Allows you to analyze how marks are being used in your building. For a selected mark type, you can identify the marks to include. You can choose up to 10 marks or create up to 10 groups of marks.

In addition, the report includes the numeric average that students earned for a course. The average is calculated as the sum of the values for marks divided by the number of marks issued. For each course, the report uses the value for the marks from the level table specified in the Master Schedule Course Level field.

Missing Submission

Identifies missing submissions for report cards. A course is listed if the teacher has submitted no information for the report card run. You can select to email teachers who have not submitted information for report cards.

Print Report Cards

Prints report cards for distribution to students. The report card is formatted based on the view defined for the Report Card Type and template for the selected report card run.

Student Competency Summary

Prints mark and comment information for student competencies from a specific report card run for students who have received one of the selected marks. You can print values for up to 20 types of marks or comments. Additionally, you can limit the report to competency groups where a student receives one of the selected marks. Alternatively, you can include all competency groups where a student received one of the selected marks.

Student Mark Summary

Prints mark, attendance, and comment information for the selected report card run for students who have received one of the selected marks. You can print the values for up to 20 types of marks, comments, or absences. Additionally, you can select to print either only the courses where a selected mark was received or all courses for a student who received a selected mark.

You can use this report to print a list of students who are failing one or more classes.

Verification Sheets

Prints the report cards marks, comments and absence information that have been entered for students and can be distributed to teachers for verification purposes.

Transcript Reports

Description

Class Rank

Prints students' rank information. You must calculate student ranks based on the GPA/Rank setups for your building before you can print the report.

Graduation Requirements

Prints graduation requirement information for students. You can choose to calculate the requirement information before printing the report, or you can print the report based on previously calculated information.

This report can be printed in summary format or in a detail format that includes details on the courses that were taken to fulfill requirements. You also can chose to include only students who should be graduating this year but do not have sufficient credits scheduled.

Print Transcripts

Prints transcripts for distribution. The transcript is formatted based on the transcript view for the selected Group Courses By option and the Transcript Type view and the template for the transcript.
