Student Competency Summary Report Page
This report prints mark and comment information for student competencies from a specific report card run.
You can limit the report to competency groups where a student receives one of the selected marks or include all competency groups when a student receives one of the selected marks. All competencies that are defined as headings will print on the report.
Additionally, you can print the values for a combination of up to 20 types of marks or comments.
Run Student Competency Summary Report
- Select Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Report Card Reports > Student Competency Summary.
- Specify the report options.
- Click Run.
- Use the Tasks/Reports options on the Navigation bar to view task status and retrieve reports.

Prompts Panel
Field | Description |

Building | Building for printing student competency information. |
Report Card Run | Report card run for printing student competency information. |
Page Break on Each Student | Checked if you want to include a page break after each student. |
Log Statistics | Checked if you want to print the prompts in a log file. Otherwise, a log file will be created only if an error occurs. |
Competency Information Section
Field | Description |

Marks to Print | Select the standards and competencies marks you want to use to select students. Select: All - to print the summary for all students. |
Grading Scale | Select the grading scale to use in printing competency information. This field is enabled only if the Marks to Print field is set to Selected. |
Selected Marks | Select the marks to use in printing competency information. Select codes from the field's drop-down list, or click (asterisk) to select all codes, then remove any that do not apply. This field is enabled after a scale has been selected in the Grading Scale field. |
Check for Blank Marks | Checked if you want to print competency information for students who have blank marks for the selected report card run. |
Print All Competency Groups | Checked if you want to print competency information for all competency groups for students who have received one of the selected marks for any competency group. If this box is unchecked, competency information prints for only the competency group(s) in which the student received one of the selected marks. |
Marks/Absences/Comments Section
Choose a combination of up to 20 mark types and comment types. For example, you could select 5 mark types and 15 comment types.

Comment Types | Select the comment types to print. You can leave the field blank to prevent comment types from displaying on the report. Select codes from the field's drop-down list, or click (asterisk) to select all codes, then remove any that do not apply. |
Sort Panel
Use the Sort panel to specify how records should be ordered in a report. You enter lines of sort criteria; the system compares your sort criteria against the corresponding fields in the records being searched and displays records in either ascending or descending order based on the sort fields.
