2020-2021 WA Transcript Features

The following features were implemented in the Washington Transcript output per the state's 2020-2021 Standardized High School Transcript User Guide:

  • The GRADUATION PATHWAY will be applicable to students with Graduation Requirements Year - GRY 2021 and will be printed as the state requirement. Allowable values are MET, WAIVED and NOT MET. Refer to Graduation Pathway in Transcript View Setup for setup details.
    Graduation Pathways designation will be applicable to students in the Class of 2020 or 2021 who are graduating this school year by 8.31.21. The seniors must have a graduation pathways designation on their transcript as MET or WAIVED.
  • Emergency waived credits will be available to students in the Class of 2020 or 2021 who are graduating this school year by 8.31.21. Maximum of 2.0 flexible or core credits waived, but no more than 1.0 credit per core content area. Must be courses impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis.
  • Use of I or Incomplete grades during the COVID-19 pandemic school closures is extended from initial use in Spring 2020 to all future years.

  • Use of asterisk notation (*) required for all terms ending on or after March 17, 2020 for the 2019-20 school year is NOT required for school terms in the 2020-21 school year.

The Washington Transcript output for students with Graduation Requirements Year prior to 2020 will retain and print all the fields in the ADDITIONAL STATE REQUIREMENTS section as described in the previous WA Transcript Features pages of this state reporting guide.
