Student Success Plans Page

Use this page to review the at risk reasons for a student and supporting data from at risk calculations. In addition, you can add success plans for a student and access existing plans for viewing or updating.

Reasons are generated by calculations run in Attendance, Behavior, Mark Reporting (Progress Reports and Report Cards), and Testing. They also can be manually added on this page.

Student Information Bar

The bar, which displays on all student pages just below the Home icon and Menu button, includes options to view the student's alerts, attachments, and notes and to email the student's teachers and guardians.

Description

View

Select the success plan information to display.

Select:

Entire Plan History - to display all at risk reasons, regardless of whether they are assigned or their plans are completed.
Incomplete Plan Information - to display at risk reasons that are not assigned to a success plan or that are assigned to success plans but do not have completion dates entered.

Data

Checkboxes that determine the panels to display on the page.

To display the Manual Non-Calculated Risks panel, select the Manual Entry checkbox.
To display calculated at risk reasons and their related plans, select the checkboxes corresponding to the options where the calculations were performed: Attendance, Behavior, Progress Reports, Report Cards, or Testing.

Manual Non-Calculated Risks Panel

This panel displays at risk reason records that were entered manually, either here or in the Success Plan Detail page.

Field	Description
Plan	Title of the related success plan. Click this link to display the Success Plan Detail page for viewing or updating the plan. For more information, refer to Success Plan Detail Page.
Plan Date	Date assigned to the student's success plan.
Plan Type	Code and description of the plan type assigned to the student's success plan.
Plan Manager	Staff member assigned as the administrator of the student's success plan.
Reason	Reason that the student has been identified as at risk, for example, At Risk of Failing or Excessive Absences. To add a reason for a student, select from the list of at risk reasons, as defined in Registration's Reasons validation table for use in student success plans.
Effective Date	Date when the student was identified for the reason.
Expiration Date	Date when the at risk reason no longer applied to the student.
Complete	Displays Yes if the plan is complete or No if it is not. A plan is considered complete when an Expiration Date is displayed.

Attendance Section

This section displays at risk information from the Attendance Criteria Calculation (Interventions > All > At Risk > Attendance Criteria Calculation) that determined the student to be at risk. Records are created if the student's attendance information meets the at risk criteria defined in the Attendance Criteria Setup (Attendance > All > Attendance Communications > Attendance Criteria Setup).

Field	Description
Plan	Title of the related success plan. Click this link to display the Success Plan Detail page for viewing or updating the plan. For more information, refer to Success Plan Detail Page.
Plan Date	Date assigned to the student's success plan.
Plan Type	Code and description of the plan type assigned to the student's success plan.
Plan Manager	Staff member assigned as the administrator of the student's success plan.
Reason	Reason that the student has been identified as at risk, based on the Attendance Criteria Setup.
Qualification Criteria	Code and description of the Attendance Criteria Setup record that the student met.
Effective Date	Date when the Attendance Criteria Calculation created the at risk reason record.
Expiration Date	Date when the Attendance Criteria Calculation updated the at risk record to indicate that the student met the expiration criteria.
Complete	Displays Yes if the plan is complete or No if it is not. A plan is considered complete when an Expiration Date is displayed.

Behavior Panel

This panel displays the behavior incidents identified by the Behavior Criteria Calculation (Interventions > All > At Risk > Behavior Criteria Calculation). Records are created if the student's behavior information meets the criteria defined in the Behavior Criteria Setup (Administration > Interventions Setup > At Risk > Behavior Criteria Setup).

Field	Description

Plan Date	Date assigned to the student's success plan.
Plan Type	Code and description of the plan type assigned to the student's success plan.

Qualification Criteria	Code and description of the Behavior Criteria Setup record that the student met.

Progress Panel

This panel displays at risk records created by the Progress Calculation (Interventions > All > At Risk > Progress Calculation). Records are created if the student's progress information meets the criteria defined in the Progress At Risk Setup (Administration > Interventions Setup > At Risk > Progress At Risk Setup).

Report Cards Section

This section displays at risk records created by the Report Card Calculation (Interventions > All > At Risk > Report Cards Calculation). Records are created if the student's report card information meets the criteria defined in the Report Card At Risk Setup (Administration > Interventions Setup > At Risk > Report Card At Risk Setup).

Complete	Displays Yes if the plan is complete and No if it is not. A plan is considered complete when an Exit Date is displayed.

Testing Panel

This panel displays at risk records created by the Tests Calculation (Interventions > All > At Risk > Tests Calculation when the student's test score information meets the criteria defined in the Test Scores At Risk Criteria Setup (Administration > Interventions Setup > At Risk > Test Scores At Risk Setup).

Complete	Displays Yes if the plan is complete and No if it is not. A plan is considered complete when an Exit Date is displayed.
