Medical Setup

The following Medical setup is needed for SHARRS reporting.

Medical Validation Tables

Menu path: Select Administration from the main menu, select General Setup submenu, select District, and then select Validation Tables. You must select Pennsylvania State Reporting for Applications and <Validation table name> for Validation Table.

Locations	medtb_location	State codes 'SCH' and 'PRI' determine category of exam (school or private provider). Required for SHARRS report.
Visit Reasons	medtb_visit	State codes 'INJ' and 'ILL' determine category of office visit (injury or illness). Required for SHARRS report.
Medicines	medtb_medicine	State codes that correspond to PA DOH Medication codes will be reported.
Medical Alerts	regtb_medic_alert	State codes that correspond to PA DOH Chronic Condition codes will be reported. The Alerts table is classified under Applications > Registration on the Validation Tables page.
Serious Injury Nature	patb_injury_nature	State codes that correspond to PA DOH Injury Nature codes will be reported. The Serious Injury Nature table is classified under Applications > Pennsylvania State Reporting on the Validation Tables page.
Serious Injury Time Period	patb_injury_time_period	State codes that correspond to PA DOH Injury Time Period codes will be reported. The Serious Injury Time Period table is classified under Applications > Pennsylvania State Reporting on the Validation Tables page.
Serious Injury Location	patb_injury_location	State codes that correspond to PA DOH Injury Location codes will be reported. The Serious Injury Location table is classified under Applications > Pennsylvania State Reporting on the Validation Tables page.
Grades	reg_grade	Students in grade levels that are assigned valid state code equiv codes will be included in the SHARRS Report. To update grade levels, select Administration from the main menu, select Registration Setup submenu, select Setup, and then select Grades.
