Oregon EdPlan Data Integration from PSSP with eSchoolPlus SIS

The OR_EDPLAN_DOWN table stores EdPlan (special education) data sent from PSSP (PowerSchool Special Programs) to the PowerSchool SIS. This table enables Oregon districts to view EdPlan student data directly within eSchoolplus.

Data Dictionary

The table 0R_EDPLAN_DOWN is an extension of the Students table. All fields are populated by the PSSP import.

MiddleName	varchar	100	Student's legal middle name.
Suffix	varchar	50	Student's generation code (for example, Jr., III).
PreferredFirstName	varchar	50	Student's preferred first name.
Gender	varchar	1	Gender code. Refer to Gender Codes.
Status	varchar	1	Record status: Active or Inactive. A value of `I` indicates inactive (student exited district or no longer in SPED). All other values indicate active.
DateOfBirth	Date	10	Student's date of birth.
RaceEthnicity	varchar	23	Comma-delimited Race/Ethnicity codes. Refer to Race/Ethnicity Codes.
Language	varchar	4	Primary language code. Refer to Language Codes.
Grade	varchar	2	Enrolled grade code. Refer to Grade Codes.
SchoolCode	varchar	40	Attending school institution identifier.
DistrictCode	varchar	40	Attending district institution identifier.
RespDistCode	varchar	40	Resident/Responsible district code — the district responsible for providing services.
ServDistCode	varchar	40	Serving/Operating district code — the district where the student receives services.
PrimaryDisability	varchar	2	Primary disability code. Refer to Disability Codes.
SecondaryDisability	varchar	2	Secondary disability code. Refer to Disability Codes.
EnrollmentType	varchar	1	Special education enrollment setting type code. Refer to Enrollment Type Codes.
Eligibility	varchar	1	Indicates if the eligibility event is a regular eligibility (`Y`) or non-eligibility (`N`/`No`).
EligibilityMeetingPurpose	varchar	1	Meeting purpose associated with the eligibility event. Refer to Meeting Purpose Codes.
EligibilityDate	Date	10	Date of the special education eligibility determination.
EligibilityEndDate	Date	10	Date the student is no longer eligible for special education.
LastIEPDate	Date	10	Meeting date of the student's last IEP. Must be within the last 50 years and cannot be a future date.
IEPBeginDate	Date	10	Begin date of the most current IEP.
IEPEndDate	Date	10	End date of the most current IEP.
Placement	varchar	2	Secondary federal placement type code. Refer to Placement Type Codes.
SPEDBIPMeetingDate	Date	10	Meeting date of the Special Education Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
SPEDBIPBeginDate	Date	10	Begin date of the SPED BIP.
SPEDBIPEndDate	Date	10	End date of the SPED BIP.
DateExited	Date	10	Date the student exited special education.
ExitReason	varchar	2	Exit reason code. Refer to Exit Reason Codes.
EnglishAsSecondLanguage	varchar	1	Indicates whether the student receives ESL services. `0` = No, `1` = Yes.
FreeReducedLunch	varchar	1	Free/reduced lunch status. Refer to Free/Reduced Lunch Codes.
ReceivesRISServices	varchar	1	Indicates whether the student receives Regional Inservice/Support (RIS) services. `Y` = Yes, `N` = No.

Notes

Read-only data: The EdPlan data in eSchoolPlus SIS cannot be edited. PSSP is the system of record. Any corrections must be made in PSSP and will be reflected after the next daily refresh.
Daily refresh: Data is overwritten daily. The WhenModified timestamp on the record indicates when the last refresh occurred.
One record per student: Only the current record is maintained; historical data is not captured.
Status field: A value of I (case-insensitive) marks the student as inactive in EdPlan. Any other value (or blank) leaves the student as active.
Race/Ethnicity format: Multiple race/ethnicity codes are comma-delimited (for example, BL7,WH7).
