PowerSchool SIS: TX DEX Profile Parameter to Control Dyslexia Set Publishing

Added a new profile-level parameter to control whether Dyslexia Sets are included in DEX publishing. Districts can now configure Dyslexia Set publishing based on their readiness, allowing specific districts to temporarily suppress Dyslexia Sets without requiring code changes. Once the 2026-27 Dyslexia Program updates are deployed, the setting can be updated to enable publishing as needed.

PowerSchool SIS: TX Student UID Resource Updated to Publish AsOfStatusFirstFridayOctober for 2026-27

The Student UID resource now publishes a school year-specific Fall As Of Status tag. School years 2026-27 and beyond publish AsOfStatusFirstFridayOctober, while school years 2025-26 and earlier continue to publish AsOfStatusLastFridayOctober, with no changes to the underlying data source or business logic.

DEX Framework: Faster Performance on Data Details

The performance and stability of the Data Details tab in DEX has been improved. Navigating to resource details, as well as sorting and paging through student and staff records, is now significantly faster and more responsive.

eSchoolPlus: Add DEX Setting for Transfer Buildings

A new DEX Setting, ExcludeTransferBuildingCourses, has been added to allow districts to chose if student course information entered in a Transfer building should be published in DEX. When the setting for ExcludeTransferBuildingCourses is turned on, DEX will not publish Course, Course Offering, Section, Student Section, Student Course Transcript or Staff Section records for courses entered in Transfer buildings.

DEX Framework: Unified Staff Records Summary & Publishing Management

DEX now features a centralized Staff Records Summary tab for simplified monitoring and management of staff data records.

Key Highlights:

• Interactive Staff Names: Staff names across staff-related resources are now hyperlinked. Clicking a staff name navigates directly to their records summary.

• Centralized Staff Records View: The new Staff Records Summary tab consolidates all published, dependent, errored, and unpublished records for a selected staff member into a single view.

• Inline & Bulk Publishing Controls:

  • Perform inline republish or delete actions on individual staff records.

  • Use Republish Records to re-process previously generated records for the selected staff member.

  • Use Publish All Records to queue and publish all eligible records for that staff member at once.
