  • Populated only when EOY is selected at runtime.

  • Remains blank when any runtime option other than EOY is selected.

• Code for Section Type – A Record

  • A new Code for Section Type value is added for EOY reporting.

  • For EOY, the value is ACDEFIJKL.

Master Schedule Collection (MSC)

For the 2026–2027 VA Master Schedule Collection (MSC), added the L record to the EOY MSC to report the Industrial Credential Exam (CTECC).

The L record includes:

• Record Type – Constant L

• Serving School

• Student Testing Identifier

• SCED Code

• VA Extended Description

• Credentialing Exam Code – From the Industry Certification page, Certification field

• Exam Result – From the Industry Certification page, Outcome field

For the MSC download/extract page, L is available as a record type when EOY is selected. This allows users to include the new L record in the EOY MSC extract.

Student Record Collection (SRC)

• Attendance Plan Code 2019 is now Attendance Plan Code.

  • Required when Unexcused Truancy ≥ 5.

  • Codes 1 and 2 remain unchanged.

  • New code: 3 – Direct contact was not established, so no plan was developed.

• Attendance Conference Code 2019 is now Attendance Conference Code.

  • Required when Unexcused Truancy ≥ 7.

  • Existing five codes remain unchanged.

  • New code: 6 – Conference scheduled.

  • For EOY SRC, Code 6 cannot be reported when Unexcused Truancy ≥ 10.

• Court Referral Code 2019 is now the Attendance Officer Referral Code.

  • Required when Unexcused Truancy + Unexcused Locally Defined Absences ≥ 11.

  • The existing three codes are replaced with five new codes:

    1. Referral to Attendance Officer Not Needed: Evidence concludes that parent is compliant

    2. Referral to Attendance Officer: No Court Referral Needed/Progress

    3. Referral to Attendance Officer: Parent Referred to Court

    4. Referral to Attendance Officer: Student Referred to Court

    5. Referral to Attendance Officer Not Made

Retired the following data elements in the Student Record Collection (SRC):

• CTE Pathways Code

• CTE Career Cluster Code

• Remote Instruction Percent of Time

• Internet Access for Remote Learning

• Device Access for Remote Learning

• Parental Remote Learning Decision

System and Extract Behavior:

• Historical data for these elements is not deleted and remains available in the system.

• Retired elements are not included in the 2026–2027 SRC file.

• A filler is included in the corresponding file positions, consistent with the handling of other retired elements.

Master Schedule Collection (MSC)

• Method of Delivery is now reported in the D record and replaces the Remote Course Indicator previously reported in the F record.

• Remote Course Indicator is retired from the F record download.

• Added new codes for Method of Delivery.

  • 5 = All in-person

  • 6 = All remote or virtual

  • 7 = Hybrid – Combination of in-person and remote

• The exact Method of Delivery position in the D record follows the 2026–2027 MSC data layout.

The following data elements are retired from the 2026–2027 MSC file:

• Title I Funded Position

• High-Quality Professional Development

• Division Teaching Experience

• Division Administrative Experience

• Division Pupil Personnel Experience

Historical data for the retired elements is not deleted and remains available in the system. These elements are not included in the 2026–2027 MSC file; a filler is included in their file positions, consistent with other retired elements.

• CTE Finisher Code — File Layout Position 39

  • Code 7 is discontinued and inactive in the CTE Finisher validation table

• PK Funding Source Code — File Layout Position 108

  • Codes 8 and 14 are inactive in the VA PreK Funding validation table

  • New code 15 – Tuition is added

  • Code descriptions are updated:

    • 10 – Local Funding

    • 12 – VPI (Three-Year-old Students)

• SISNA Disability Code — File Layout Position 93

  • New code 10 – OHI - Other Health Impairment is added to the Disabilities validation table
