NJ SLEDS Course Information and NJ SLEDS Course Roster Extract

Added three fields to all the NJ SLEDS Course Information UI:

  • Teacher of Record

  • Start Date

  • End Date

Business requirement:

Override applies when Staff (Teacher of Record) and Start Date are populated (End Date optional):

  • If Staff and Start Date are present in NJ SLEDS Course Information, the system will use the values from NJ SLEDS Course Information.

  • If the End Date is not provided in NJ SLEDS Course Information, the system will use the available Override values (Staff and Start Date) and leave the End Date blank.

  • If Staff for Start Date is blank, the existing reporting process does not change — the report shall continue to use the values from the Primary Staff assignment.

Override mapping:

  • Teacher of Record replaces Primary Staff

  • Start Date replaces Staff Start Date

  • End Date replaces Staff End Date
