NJ PARCC Pre-ID

The PARCC Pre-ID download creates records primarily based on students' scheduled courses. It uses the NJ PARCC Course Test Codes district-level district-defined page to see which State Course codes are associated with a PARCC Test Code. The program then finds the Marking Period as of the Reporting Date you chose. It finds courses meeting in the current Marking Period that also have a State Course code mapped to a PARCC test. Your local Course Codes are mapped to State Course codes in the table mr_crsequ_det.

Students who are active in courses meeting the above criteria get PARCC Pre-ID records for the associated Test Codes. To get the student test data, the download looks at the following hierarchy of district-defined pages: (1) student course NJ PARCC Student Overrides; (2) Master Schedule NJ PARCC Course Information; (3) Building Course Catalog NJ PARCC Course Information; (4) District Course Catalog NJ PARCC Course Information.

For students without scheduled courses, you can assign PARCC information on the student-level PARCC Test Selection Override page. The PARCC Pre-ID download creates records for each test code with a School Year matching the selected download Fiscal Year.

The following Procedural Outline provides information for the setups, student and course entry, and utilities you use to prepare an NJ PARCC Pre-ID submission.
