General Collection – Fall
General Collection - Fall Prerequisites
- If you use specific Entry codes to designate entry into your district, list the appropriate codes in the MI SDS Download Options district-level page.
 - Calculate Attendance Day Totals for each building using the View that you use for State Reporting. (Attendance > All > Utilities > Day Totals Calculation)
 - To report the Early On, Initial IFSP, Part C Assessment, and Part B Referral components, your district needs an EEM Entity Type value of ISD on the MI EEM Entity Type district district-defined page. This is the default value. (Administration > General Setup > District District Defined > MI EEM Entity Type)
 - Data for the Early On, Initial IFSP, and Part B Referral components is entered on the MI Early On/IFSP/Part B Referral Page.
- The Early On component is required for a student if he or she has the Initial IFSP or Part B Referral component reported.
 - Early On is also required for a child under the age of 2 years, 6 months if that student is reported in the Fall General Collection's Special Education component.
 - The student gets a Part B Referral record only if both of the following fields have an entry: SEA Notification and LEA Notification.
 - For a particular Referral Date, an Initial IFSP record is reported once. After you report a Referral Date once, the SDS Download will not report that same date again. You will get a warning in the error log noting when an Initial IFSP component record is not created because a date had already been reported.

 - Part C Assessment information is entered on the MI Part C Assessment Page. The three most recent records are reported for a single student in a particular collection, based on Assessment Date.
 - If you need to exclude any student from the submission, use the MI Exclude from Submission Page.
