This section of the documentation reviews Prerequisites that must be completed before running the MD High School Data Collection Report and reviews the prompts on the Report page.
This report requires running both the report and the extract.
MD High School Assessment Status and Completion Report Prerequisites

Make sure that your District's Math, Science, Advanced Technology Education, and Foreign Language courses have a State Course Code associated with them. You may update this in two places: Course Catalog or Course Equivalency Definition. If you want to update the State Course for one course at a time, use the Course Catalog. If you want to associate one State Course with numerous courses in the Course Catalog, use the Course Equivalency Definition option.

Verify that the HS Completer and CIP Code fields on the MSPP Indicators page have been updated correctly for CTE students.

Verify that students designated as Special Education Certificate students have the correct Diploma Type on the Academic page.

Verify that students in the following programs have the correct values: FARMS, LEP, Title I, Special Education, 504, Migrant.

If a student entered your District after ninth grade, make sure that you have entered a Transfer Building record for the student for ninth grade.

Verify that SAT and ACT scores have been loaded into eSchoolPlus.

Verify that HSA, MSA, Mod MSA, and Alt MSA test scores have been loaded into eSchoolPlus.

Verify that Marks have been entered and that Credits have been assigned.

Verify that students have applicable data entered for the following programs:

DUAL - Dual Enrollment

Verify that students have entered the applicable data on the College and Career Readiness page.

Building List |
Select All to run the report for all buildings or select Selected to choose one or more buildings. |

Date Range (Start Date and End Date) |
This date range tells the system what dates to compare students' Entry/Withdrawal dates to include or exclude the student. |

GPA Type |
Select the GPA Type that you want to use for Mark Reporting data in the report. |

Mark Type |
Select which Mark Type(s) the program needs to look at on a student's record for the course indicators, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Science, and Approved Advanced Tech. |

Marks to Include |
Select which marks the program needs to look at on a student's record for the course indicators, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Science, and Approved Advanced Tech. These marks would be B or better or the numeric equivalent based on the grades the state wants reported for these fields on the report. |

Additional Information
The Maryland High School Data Collection report Download and Extract files will include the following columns in the output but will remain blank for districts to populate externally, as needed. This is to align with the state file layout requirements.
