Use the Interim Progress Page (Grade Reporting > Interim Progress) to enter interim progress for your students. Interim progress reports include grades, comments, and attendance information between the times that report cards are issued. Buttons and Fields on the Interim Progress Page

Individual

To report progress for a student for an individual IPR date, click to enter a check in this box. This column only displays if you clicked the Individual button to add progress for an individual date, instead of using a date that was pre-defined for your building.

Marks Fields

Grade that the student is earning in the course for the mark type. The names and number of mark columns which display are determined by your building's setup.

Enter grades by typing the desired grade or clicking on the down arrow to select the grade from a list of valid grades. You can also click Mass Update Scores to display mass update options.

To load marks calculated based on Gradebook assignment averages, click Load from Gradebook. When you load from Gradebook, any marks that have been entered will be overwritten. If you need to change a student's mark, you should change the student's average for the Interim Progress date in Gradebook and then load from Gradebook again. Note that your building's configuration determines whether you can override averages in Gradebook.

Comments Fields

Comment student received for the comment type. For example, the comment that the student received for the Citizenship comment. The names and number of columns which display are determined by your building's setup.

Enter comments by typing in the comment description or clicking on the down arrow to select the comment from a list. You can also click Mass Update Scores to display mass update options.

If the column heading includes * (red asterisk), then you must enter a value for this comment type if you enter a value in any other field for the student.

Absences Fields

Attendance total for student for the specific absence type. For example, an attendance column may be used to indicate the number of days a student was tardy for your class. The names and number of columns which display are determined by your building's setup.

Enter the number of days by typing the desired value.

If your building administrator transferred class attendance information to IPRs, then the total reflects absences for the marking period up to the IPR date.
