Enter Interim Progress Report

Interim progress reports include grades, comments, and attendance information between the times that report cards are issued.

Enter progress for a report date pre-defined by your building

  1. From Grade Reporting, click Interim Progress to display the Interim Progress page.

  2. If you want to load progress grades from Gradebook and then change information as needed, click Load from Gradebook.

  3. Enter progress for students as needed.
    Depending on your building's mark reporting configuration, you may be required to enter a value in a field if you enter a value in any other field for the student. The configuration also determines which of the following columns display:

    • Marks - Enter the desired grade. Type the desired grade or click the down arrow to select the grade from a list of valid grades. You can also click Mass Update Scores to display mass update options. These let you clear all marks or update either all or only blank marks with an entered value.

    • Comments - Enter the comment to assign to the student for the type of comment specified for the column. Type the comment code or click the down arrow to select the comment. You can also click Mass Update Scores to display mass update options. These let you clear all comments or update either all or only blank comments with an entered comment code value.

    • Absences - Enter the total number of days the student missed your class for the type of absence specified for the column.

  4. To view or enter progress notes for students, click Settings, and select Show/Hide Notes. Then enter any detailed comments or notes.

  5. To spell check the text you entered, click Spell Check. Use the UltimateSpell options to make changes as needed. When you have completed the spell check, click OK to keep the changes.

  6. Click Save.

Enter Progress information for an individual progress date

  1. From Grade Reporting, click Interim Progress to display the Interim Progress page.

  2. Click Individual.

  3. On the Class List chooser, select the course and the date to use for the individual IPR date. Then, click OK.

  4. To enter information for a student, click the Individual box to enter a checkmark.

  5. Enter progress for students as needed.

  8. Click Save.
