Pinnacle Import Utility Page

Use this page to import data from Pinnacle Gradebook. Data can be imported for attendance, progress reports, and report cards.

Description

Import Type

Select the data to import.

Select:

Attendance - to import attendance data from Pinnacle Gradebook.
Mark Reporting - to import report cards data from Pinnacle Gradebook.
Progress - to import progress report data from Pinnacle Gradebook.

Building

Select the building you are importing data for.

Log Statistics

Checked if you want to print the prompts in a log file. Otherwise, a log file will be created only if an error occurs.

Attendance Section

The fields in this section are accessible if you set the Import Type field to Attendance.

Description

From Run Date

The first date to use as an endpoint for the import.

Select:

By Date - to use a set date as the first end date.
By Prior Days - to run the process for a set number of attendance days. Prior days count backward from the end date. For example, if the end date is Friday and you want the import to cover a full week Monday through Friday, enter 4. This option is useful if you schedule the process to run periodically.

To Run Date

The ending date for the import.

Select:

Today - to use today as the last date to check. This option is useful if you schedule the import to run periodically.
By Date - to use a set date as the end date for the import.

Progress Section

The fields in this section are accessible if you set the Import Type field to Progress.

The date to use to import progress.

Select:

Today - to use today as the date to check. This option is useful if you schedule the import to run periodically.
By Date - to use a set date as the date for the import.

Mark Reporting Section

The fields in this section are accessible if you set the Import Type field to Mark Reporting.

Field	Description
Marking Periods	Select the marking periods to import. Select codes from the field's drop-down list, or click (asterisk) to select all codes, then remove any that do not apply.
