Create Teacher Assignments

Regulatory > CALPADS > Utilities > Create Teacher Assignments
This utility can be used to update the CA Staff Assignments (205) and the CA Staff Highly Qualified (206) district-defined pages for your teachers. It will create a record on that page for each building that a teacher teaches a course in, based on the courses in the Master Schedule that the teacher is assigned to. It will also allow you to create records for Homeroom Assignments.

This utility uses the staff information entered in the Master Schedule Course Information section to extract information for the census date and to update the staff information in the CA Staff Assignments (205) and the CA Staff Highly Qualified (206) district-defined pages for your teachers. For more information, refer to Primary Staff and Secondary Staff Tracking for Courses.

You can then go to the Staff Building Information CA Staff Assignments and CA Staff Highly Qualified pages to update any exceptions. This is used for staff members that are teachers with a job classification of 12.

Field	Description
Building List	Click All for all buildings or to run the utility on certain building(s), click Selected and select the building(s).
Assignment Type	Select Course or Homeroom.
Default FTE Value	Enter a default FTE value. Enter 100 if a teacher spends all of his/her time for an assignment.
Default Highly Qualified	Select a default Highly Qualified value.
Census Date	Enter the date you want to run this utility to create teacher assignment record .
Delete All Assignments for the Selected Buildings and Filter	Checked if you want to delete all records on the CA Staff Assignments page for all teachers in the selected building(s) and staff included in the filter. Use with Caution.
Delete all Teacher Assignments	Checked if you want to delete all records on the CA Staff Assignments page for all teachers. Use with Caution.
