Initial Setup and Connection to Your Regulatory Agency's ODS

Once you have configured basic settings and enabled Data Exchange, you can create new profiles or edit existing profiles.  A data profile must be configured for each unique web service connection.  Although supported, it is rare that a single district will need to configure more than one data profile.  One example of multiple profile use is where the state has implemented Ed-Fi and requires each district to publish compliance or other data to the state using Ed-Fi technology, and separately the district has implemented an Ed-Fi ODS for their own use. Once a profile has been created, you can configure and test its connection settings to your regulatory agency's ODS.
