Manage Profiles

Create a New Profile

Existing profiles are selected as tabs at the top of the Data Exchange Publishing page and display their categories as rows of resources. Follow these steps if you do not yet have a profile or wish to create additional profiles.

  1. From the Data Exchange Publishing page, click Settings, and then select the Configure tab.
  2. Select Add Profile to display the Profile dialog.
  3. Fill in the new profile's required fields.
  4. Select Save.

Edit an Existing Profile

Existing profiles are selected as tabs at the top of the Data Exchange Publishing page and display their categories as rows of resources. Follow these steps to edit existing profiles.

  1. From the Data Exchange Publishing page, click Settings, and then select the Configure tab.
    Any existing profiles display in the Profiles section.
  2. Select (...) on a profile's row, and select Edit to display the Profile dialog. 
  3. Enable or disable the profile and make any required changes in the text fields.
  4. Select any school years to be added; select X to remove a school year.
  5. Select which actions the profile will be able to perform.
  6. Select Save.

Delete an Existing Profile

Existing profiles can only be deleted if the profile is both not enabled and has no items published. 

  1. From the Data Exchange Publishing page, click Settings, and then select the Configure tab. 
    Any existing profiles display in the Profiles section.
  2. Select (...) on a profile's row, and select Delete to delete a profile. 
    The Delete selection only displays if:
    - The profile is not enabled.  
    - The profile does not have items published.
  3. Confirm the deletion.
