Student Recommendation Procedures

Following are the student recommendation procedures that can be performed from the Requests page. For field descriptions and other information, refer to Requests Page.

View recommendations

  1. Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student > Requests.
  2. If the Student Search Page displays, search for the appropriate student, then click the student's name link.

Add recommendations

  1. Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student > Requests.
  2. If the Student Search Page displays, search for the appropriate student, then click the student's name link.
  3. On the Course Recommendations panel, select a course and complete the additional fields as needed.
  4. Click Save.

Change recommendations

  1. Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student > Requests.
  2. If the Student Search Page displays, search for the appropriate student, then click the student's name link.
  3. Change the information on the Course Recommendations panel as needed.
  4. Click Save.

Delete recommendations

  1. Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student > Requests.
  2. If the Student Search Page displays, search for the appropriate student, then click the student's name link.
  3. Select the
     (Delete) checkbox for each record to delete.
  4. Click Save.

Add requests based on recommendations

This procedure describes how to add requests based on recommendations for an individual student. To add requests for multiple students, run Load Recommended to Requests (Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student Scheduler > Load Recommended to Requests).

  1. Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student > Requests.
  2. If the Student Search Page displays, search for the appropriate student, then click the student's name link.
  3. In the Course Recommendations panel, select the Save to Requests checkbox for each course.
  4. Click Save.
