Set up Week View Page for Home Access

Your district can display a weekly calendar in HAC showing a student's scheduling, assignments, course averages, attendance, and discipline incidents. If the Week View page is enabled, the current week displays by default. Guardians and students can navigate the week view to display past and future weeks.

Enabling guardians and students to view the page

Home Access Center Building Configuration

Administration > HAC Setup > Setup > HAC Building Configuration > click Building link

For each building, in the Configuration panel's Week View section, check the following boxes as needed for guardians, students, or both:

  • Show Week View
  • Show Attendance
  • Show Discipline Alert
  • Show Fee Balance
  • Show Scheduled Courses
  • Show Student Competencies
  • Show Average Mark Type in Week View

For additional settings affecting the Week View page, refer to Classwork/Assignments and Classwork/Assignment Averages.

Enable students to check in to classes or join virtual meetings from HAC

If your school has enabled the Zoom integration for student check-ins, you may want to enable the Show Meeting Link option so students can use the Week View page as a location to find links for all of their virtual meetings.

If your school has enabled the Student Check-In page in Teacher Access so teachers can use student check-ins to submit attendance, you may want to enable the Show Manual Check-In option so students can click a checkbox to check-in for a class.
