Run the Scheduling Synchronization
Use the Scheduling Synchronization to update mark reporting records based on scheduling changes. In addition, the synchronization calculates the student's attempted credits based on the Course Credit Setup.
Some scheduling changes result in the deletion of mark reporting information. For example, if the student dropped the course and the last marking period to receive marks was marking period 3, the Scheduling Synchronization would delete mark reporting records for marking period 4. It is possible that mark reporting information was already entered for the records that are being deleted.
The Scheduling Synchronization creates two reports:
- Scheduling-MR Synchronization Report is a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) file listing the mark reporting information that will be deleted. If you run the synchronization without deleting this information, you can review the report to verify the student's schedule changes and then run the synchronization again to delete the data.
- Scheduling/MR Synchronization Statistics Log provides details on how the student's courses were processed.
Run Scheduling Synchronization
- Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student > Schedule Entry.
- If the Student Search Page displays, search for the appropriate student, then click the student's name link.
