Special Education Preschool | Checked if the student is participating in a preschool funded with Federal Special Education funds for services to children with disabilities ages 3–21. |
ECEAP | Checked if the student is participating in a State-funded preschool for low-income, at-risk children. |
Head Start | Checked if the student is participating in a Federally-funded preschool program for children from low-income, at-risk families. |
Title I | Checked if the building is receiving Title I funds to support preschool for students identified as at risk of failing to meet state standards when they reach kindergarten. Schoolwide building programs are exempt from this identification requirement. |
GRADS parenting teen Preschool | Checked if the student is participating in an onsite child care/preschools for GRADS students. May be used as learning labs for Early Childhood Education. |
Family/Consumer Science Presch | Checked if the student is participating in a Family/Consumer Science preschool lab program operated in coordination with an Early Childhood CTE course. |
Private pay/Tuition-based | Checked if the student is participating in a Private pay/Tuition-based preschool where families pay to participate. |
Grant-funded | Checked if the student is participating in a Grant-funded preschool sponsored by private foundations and other philanthropic entities, including local businesses. |
Work Connect Child Care Subsid | Checked if the student is participating in a Work Connect Child Care Subsidy preschool to assist eligible families with child care costs. These benefits are paid to programs that provide child care services for eligible families. |
Parent Cooperatives | Checked if the student is participating in a Parent Cooperatives preschool program partially staffed and facilitated by parents or family members of enrolled children. |
Play & Learn Groups | Checked if the student is participating in a Play & Learn Groups preschool with regular, informal, drop-in preschool activities for children and their families/caregivers. For example, Kaleidoscope, 1-2-3 Grow and Learn. |
Transitional Kindergarten | Checked if the student is participating in a Transitional Kindergarten, which is an early entry kindergarten program for children not yet five years of age by August 31 of the year of entry who do not have access to high-quality early learning experiences prior to kindergarten and have been deemed by a school district, through a screening process and/or other instrument(s), to be in need of additional preparation to be successful in kindergarten the following year. |
