Student Special Ed (K) File Errors and Warnings

ERROR: State code equiv is blank for Exit Reason : Exit Reason

Update the Program Exit Reason validation table to have the correct State Code Equiv (Administration > General Setup > District > Validation Tables > select Registration).

ERROR: SSID should have exactly 10 digit number for the student : Student ID

Update the State Reporting ID (SSID) field on the student's Personal page to be 10 characters in length (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

ERROR: Student : Student ID does not have valid SSID Number

This indicates that the student's SSID has a non-numeric value in it and should not. Update the State Reporting ID (SSID) field on the student's Personal page to not have alpha characters in it (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

ERROR: Student : Student ID StateID should not begin with a zero

Update the State Reporting ID (SSID) field on the student's Personal page to the correct value that does not start with a zero (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

WARNING: Student : Student ID StateID is blank

Verify that the student should not have an SSID in eSchoolPLUS yet (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

ERROR: Program Start Date should be greater than Entry Date of the student : Student ID

This error indicates that the Program Start Date is prior to the student's entry into your district. District entry date is determined by finding the first Entry Date that has an Entry code that matches one in the District Entry Codes field on the WA District page (Administration > General Setup > District District Defined > WA District). If the student does not have one of these Entry Codes, the District Enrollment Date from the Registration page is used. If that date is also missing, the district entry date is the student's first Entry Date from Entry/Withdrawal. If you get this error, verify the Program Start Date (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student District Defined > WA Special Education; click on the hyperlink in the LRE Code field and look at the value in the Start Date field.

ERROR: Program Start Date should be greater than Birth Date of the student : Student ID

This error indicates that the Program Start Date is prior to the student's birth date. If you get this error, verify the Program Start Date (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student District Defined > WA Special Education; click on the hyperlink in the LRE Code field and look at the value in the Start Date field or check that the student's birth date was entered properly (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Registration).

ERROR: Program End Date should be greater than Program Start Date of the student : Student ID

You should not see this error because eSchoolPLUS will not allow a user to enter an End Date on a Program prior to the Start Date. If you do get this error, go to Registration > Entry & Reports > Student District Defined > WA Special Education; click on the hyperlink in the LRE Code field and look at the values in the Start Date and End Date fields.

ERROR: LRE Program Value is blank for the student : Student ID

You should not see this error, but if you do, go to Registration > Entry & Reports > Student District Defined > WA Special Education; click on the hyperlink in the LRE Code field and enter a value in the LRE Code Value field.

State code equiv is blank for LRE Code : LRE Code

You should not see this error, but if you do, update the Special Education LRE Code validation table to have the correct value in the State Code Equiv field (Administration > General Setup > Validation Tables > select Washington State Reporting).
