How to Fix the Issue

ERROR: Transcript Views have not been defined for building Building.

Go to Administration > Mark Reporting Setup > View Setup > Transcript View Setup and set up a Washington Transcript View for this building. If there are no Transcript Views setup then the error message will not indicate a building number.

WARNING SSID is blank

Verify that the student should not have an SSID in eSchoolPLUS yet (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

ERROR Invalid SSID: Student ID - SSID must be a number

Update the State Reporting ID (SSID) field on the student's Personal page to not have alpha characters in it (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

ERROR Invalid SSID: Student ID - SSID must be 10 digits

Update the State Reporting ID (SSID) field on the student's Personal page to be 10 characters in length (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

ERROR Invalid SSID: Student ID - SSID cannot start with a 0

Update the State Reporting ID (SSID) field on the student's Personal page to the correct value that does not start with a zero (Registration > Entry & Reports > Student Demographic > Personal).

ERROR State Equivalent Grade Level is blank for Grade Level Grade

This indicates that the State Code Equiv is blank for the grade listed. Go to Administration > Registration Setup > Setup > Grades and update the Grades table.

ERROR Invalid Mark Letter Grade for Course Course ID - Course ID Title

This indicates that the grade that a student received for a course is not a valid Washington State grade. See the Mark Reporting Setup section of this document for a list, or look at the CEDARS manual.

ERROR Credits Attempted needed for Course Course ID - Course ID Title

You should not see this error, but if you for a course that the student is currently taking, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary and update the value for the course listed. If it is a course in a prior school year, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Transcript Summary to update the course listed.

ERROR Credits Attempted is not numeric for Course Course ID - Course ID Title

You should not see this error, but if you for a course that the student is currently taking, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary and update the value for the course listed. If it is a course in a prior school year, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Transcript Summary to update the course listed.

ERROR Credits Attempted is not between 0.00 and 99.99 for Course Course ID - Course ID Title

You should not see this error, but if you for a course that the student is currently taking, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary and update the value for the course listed. If it is a course in a prior school year, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Transcript Summary to update the course listed.

You should not see this error, but if you for a course that the student is currently taking, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary and update the value for the course listed. ERROR Credits Earned is not numeric for Course Course ID - Course ID Title

You should not see this error, but if you for a course that the student is currently taking, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary and update the value for the course listed. If it is a course in a prior school year, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Transcript Summary to update the course listed.

ERROR Credits Earned is not between 0.00 and 99.99 for Course Course ID - Course ID Title

You should not see this error, but if you for a course that the student is currently taking, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary and update the value for the course listed. If it is a course in a prior school year, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Transcript Summary to update the course listed.

ERROR Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate Code needed for Course Course ID - Course ID Title

Update the AB/IP Course Code field on the WA Course Information page (Scheduling > Courses > Course Sections > Master Schedule). If necessary, you could update the field on the course at the District Course or Building Course level (Scheduling > Courses > District Courses or Building Courses > WA Course Information).

ERROR CIP Code needed for Course - Course ID Title

Update the CIP Code field on the WA Course Information page (Scheduling > Courses > Course Sections > Master Schedule). If necessary, you could update the field on the course at the District Course or Building Course level (Scheduling > Courses > District Courses or Building Courses > WA Course Information).

ERROR Is CTE Program Completer needed for Course Course ID Title

Update student Mark Reporting course district-defined page WA Vocational Completer, Vocational Completer field (Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary > click appropriate Description link > Course Information panel > Other Student Course Mark Information section > WA Vocational Completer). Based on Graduation Requirement Group setup, you can have this field updated automatically via the WA Completer Calculation. For more information, refer to the WA Completer Calculation section.

Is Tech Prep Completer needed for Course Course ID Title

Update student Mark Reporting course district-defined page WA Vocational Completer, Tech Prep Completer field (Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary > click appropriate Description link > Course Information panel > Other Student Course Mark Information section > WA Vocational Completer). Based on Graduation Requirement Group setup, you can have this field updated automatically via the WA Completer Calculation. For more information, refer to the WA Completer Calculation section.

Tech Prep Completer cannot be 'Y' for Course Course ID Title

The course may need the Tech Prep box checked on the WA Course Information Master Schedule district-defined page (Scheduling > Courses > Course Sections > WA Course Information).

Received Recognized Industry Certificate needed for Course Course ID Title

Update Industry Certificate field on WA Vocational Completer student Mark Reporting course district-defined page (Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary > click appropriate Description link > Course Information panel > Other Student Course Mark Information section > WA Vocational Completer).

CTE Direct Transcription Available needed for Course Course ID Title

Update the CTE Direct Transcription field on the WA Course Information page (Scheduling > Courses > Course Sections > Master Schedule). If necessary, you could update the field on the course at the District Course or Building Course level (Scheduling > Courses > District Courses or Building Courses > WA Course Information).

Taken or Passed Assessment of Technical Skill needed for Course Course ID Title

Update Took/Passed Nat/State Asmt field, WA Vocational Completer student Mark Reporting course district-defined page (Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary > click appropriate Description link > Course Information panel > Other Student Course Mark Information section > WA Vocational Completer).

Invalid CIP Code for Course Course ID Title

Update the CIP Code field on the WA Course Information page (Scheduling > Courses > Course Sections > Master Schedule). If necessary, you could update the field on the course at the District Course or Building Course level (Scheduling > Courses > District Courses or Building Courses > WA Course Information).

No Mark for Course: Course ID in Term: Term

This indicates that the student does not have a grade for the course listed. For a course that the student is currently taking, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Report Card Summary and update the value for the course listed. If it is a course in a prior school year, go to Mark Reporting > Entry & Reports > Student > Transcript Summary to update the course listed.
