The CEDARS download reports student disabilities in the Student Programs (I) file. It compares your download date range to Start and End Dates for student disabilities. If the download finds a student disability in the prompted date range, it creates a Student Programs record with a Program Code (I06) of 36 – Student Identified with a Disability and a Qualification Code (I10) showing the specific disability code.
You do not have to assign the Disability code of 36 for the student disabilities to report in the Student Programs file. The CEDARS Download automatically creates the Programs record with Program Code 36 for each valid Disability code it finds.
