How to Fix the Issue

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Number of months Non US Attendance in school is blank for student with birth country other than USA

If country of birth is USA and Months Non US Education field is empty/blank, then this error is displayed.

Add the value for the Months Non US Education field from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student District Defined, and then select WA Bilingual: Months Non US Education field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Initial USA Public School Enrollment is blank for student with birth country other than USA

If country of birth is other than USA and place date is empty, then this error is displayed.

Change the country of birth from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Personal: Country of Birth field.

WARNING: Student - Country: Student XXXXX has a blank value for state_code_equivalent

If the state code equivalent of the selected country is blank, then this warning is displayed.

Add the State Code Equivalent values from the menu path:

Select Administration, choose General SetupDistrict, and then select Validation Tables. Select all from Applications and Countries from Validation Table. Add or update the State Code Equivalent values. 

WARNING: Student - Disability: Student XXXXX has a blank value for state_code_equivalent

If the state code equivalent of the selected disability is blank, then this warning is displayed.

Add the State Code Equivalent values from the menu path:

Select Administration, choose General SetupDistrict, and then select Validation Tables. Select all from Applications and Disabilities from Validation Table. Add or update the State Code Equivalent values. 

ERROR: Student - GPA Type not set in district-defined screen

If the GPA Type is not set in WA district defined screen, then this error is displayed.

Set the GPA Type from the menu path:

Select Administration, choose General SetupDistrict Defined, and then select WA District: GPA Type field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - State code equivalent is blank for the military status - X

If the state code equivalent of the selected military status is blank, then this error is displayed.

Add the State Code Equivalent values from the menu path:

Select Administration, choose General SetupDistrict, and then select Validation Tables. Select all from Applications and Military Connected Status from Validation Table. Add or update the State Code Equivalent values. 

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student has an invalid Military Status

If the invalid military status is selected, then this error is displayed.

Change the selected military status from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student District Defined, and then select WA Military Status: WA Military Status field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Entry Date is blank

If the entry date is blank in the entry/withdrawal page, then this error is displayed.

Set the entry date from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Entry/Withdraw: Entry Date field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student has entry date less than the birth date

If the entry date is less than the birth date, then this error is displayed.

Check the dates from the menu paths:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Entry/Withdraw: Entry Date field.

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Registration: District Enrollment Date field.

ERROR: Student - Default Military Status is not set in District Defined Screen

If the Default Military Status is not set in WA district defined screen, then this error is displayed.

Set the Default Military Status from the menu path:

Select Administration, choose General Setup, District Defined, and then select WA District: Default Military Status field.

WARNING: Student XXXXX - Grade: has a blank value for state_code_equivalent

If the State Code Equivalent value of the selected student grade is blank/null, then this warning is displayed.

Add the State Code Equivalent value for the selected student grade in the REG_GRADE table.

WARNING: Student XXXXX - Student has an ASVAB Status of 1 or 2, but no Score or Year entered for that test

If the student has an ASVAB Status of 1 or 2 but the Score or Year is blank, then this warning is displayed.

Add the Score or Year from the menu path:

Select Test Score, choose All, Student, and then select Test History by Student: In the test data, select the ASVAB Test Score and AVSAB Test Years fields.

WARNING: Student XXXXX - Student does not have an ASVAB Status, and they have a Score or a Year for that test. Defaulting Status to 0. Please review this Student.

If the student has added value for ASVAB Score and ASVAB Year but the ASVAB Status is blank, then this warning is displayed.

Add the ASVAB Status from the menu path:

Select Test Score, choose All, Student, and then select Test History by Student: In the test data, select the ASVAB Test Status field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student's age should be less than 21 as of 1st September

This error occurs when the student age is more than 21 years from September 1st of the current school year.

Check the student age from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Registration: Birth Date field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student's birthdate should be less than current date

If the student's birthday is greater than current date, then this error is displayed.

Give the accurate birthdate from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Registration: Birth Date field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student has an invalid birth country

If selected country of birth is invalid, then this error is displayed.

Change the country of birth from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Personal: Country of Birth field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student StateID should be 10 characters in length

If the state SSID is greater/lesser than 10 characters, then this error is displayed.

Change the state SSID from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Personal: State SSID field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student StateID should be a numeric value

If the state SSID is other than numeric values, then this error is displayed.

Change the state SSID from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Personal: State SSID field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student's SSID cannot be blank

If the state SSID is blank/null, then this error is displayed.

Add the state SSID from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Personal: State SSID field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student does not have a valid grade

If the student contains an invalid grade, then this error is displayed.

Set a valid grade from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Entry/Withdraw: Grade field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student does not have a state code equiv set for native language

If the State Code Equivalent values of the selected native language is blank, then this error is displayed.

Set the State Code Equivalent values in the menu paths:

Select Administration, choose General SetupDistrict, and then select Validation Tables. Select all from Applications and Languages from Validation Table. Add or update the State Code Equivalent values. 

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select RegistrationNative Language field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student does not have a state code equiv set for home language

If the State Code Equivalent values of the selected home language is blank, then this error is displayed.

Set the State Code Equivalent values in the menu paths:

Select Administration, choose General SetupDistrict, and then select Validation Tables. Select all from Applications and Languages from Validation Table. Add or update the State Code Equivalent values. 

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select RegistrationHome Language field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Home Language is not specified for the student

If the home language is blank, then this error is displayed.

Set the home language from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select RegistrationHome Language field.

WARNING: Student XXXXX - Students in State Transitional Bilingual Instructional Program cannot have language code of 639 - English in both Home and Native Language

If the student’s home and native language is 639 and the student is active in WABIL-WA Bilingual program with the program designation value 1- State Transitional Bilingual Instructional, then this warning is displayed.

Change the home and native language from the menu paths:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select RegistrationHome Language field.

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select RegistrationNative Language field.

Or change the program designation from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student District Defined, and then select WABILProgram Designation field.

WARNING: Student XXXXX - Native American receiving English Language Development Services must have a Language code of 639 - English or 640 - American Sign Language

If the student is active in WABIL-WA Bilingual program with the program designation value 3-Nat Amer Stu receiving Title III Eng Lang Dev Srvs and the home, native language other than 639 or 640, then this warning is displayed.

Change the native and home language from the menu paths:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select RegistrationHome Language field.

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select RegistrationNative Language field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Student ZIP code should have 5 or 9 digits

If the student zip code contains other than 5 or 9 digits, then this error is displayed.

Change the zip code from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student Demographic, and then select Addresses: In the Addresses panel, select the Zip Code field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Value of student cumulative GPA should be between 0.000 to 4.000

If the value of cumulative GPA is not in between 0.000 to 4.000, then this error is displayed.

Change the cumulative GPA from the menu path:

Select Mark Reporting, choose Entry & Reports, Student, and then select GPA Summary: In the GPA Information tab, choose Cumulative and then select GPA.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Value of student earned credit should be between 0.00 to 999.99

If the value of student earned credit is not between 0.00 to 999.99, then this error is displayed.

Check the earned credit from the menu path:

Select Mark Reporting, choose Entry & Reports, Student, and then select Transcript Summary: Earned Credit field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Value of student attempted credits should be between 0.00 to 999.99

If the value of student attempted credit is not between 0.00 to 999.99, then this error is displayed.

Check the attempted credit from the menu path:

Select Mark Reporting, choose Entry & Reports, Student, and then select Transcript Summary: Att Credit field.

ERROR: Student XXXXX - Value of student attempted credits must be equal to or greater than the earned credits

If the value of student attempted credits is less than the earned credits, then this error is displayed.

Check the attempted credits from the menu path:

Select Mark Reporting, choose Entry & Reports, Student, and then select Transcript Summary: Att Credit field.

WARNING: Student XXXXX - Number of Months Non US Attendance in School is not numeric

If the Months Non US Attendance field value is other than integer/numeric, then this warning is displayed.

Change the Months Non US Attendance value from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student District Defined, and then select WA Bilingual: Months Non US Education field.

WARNING: Student XXXXX - Length of number of months of Non US Attendance is more than 3 digits, so first three characters considered as Number of Months Non US Attendance

If the Months Non US Attendance field value contains more than 3 digits, then this warning is displayed.

Change the Months Non US Attendance value from the menu path:

Select Registration, choose Entry & Reports, Student District Defined, and then select WA Bilingual: Months Non US Education field.
