Payment Types

Defines the payment types that can be specified when payments are applied to student fees; for example, Check, Cash, Waiver. Validates the Payment Type field on the Student Fees page.

Student Status Codes

Defines the student status codes that are assigned to students when fees and payments are applied; for example, Paid in Full, Balance Due, Account on Hold. Validates the Fee Status field on the Personal page.

Threshold Amount

Maximum balance due a student can have for this status code. The threshold amount values are compared to the student's fee balance due to determine which status to assign a student. Students are assigned to the status with the lowest threshold amount that their total balance due does not exceed.

Example:

PD - FULLY PAID 0.00

BD - BALANCE DUE 25.00

HA - HOLD ACCOUNT 200.00

CR - CREDIT BALANCE - .01

Sub-Categories

Defines the sub-categories within the categories that can be assigned to fee items. You may use sub-categories to identify departments or fee reductions within school programs; for example, English, Math, Special Ed Reduction, Lunch Reduction. Validates the Fee Subcategory field on the Fee Items page.

Unit Description
