Setting up the Calendar for Home Access

Your district can display the Calendar page in HAC for viewing the student's assignments and events. Teachers can create events for courses, student competency groups, homerooms, and activities in Teacher Access Center. Teachers must publish events and assignments in TAC to enable them to display in HAC.

Enabling the Calendar page to display for guardians and students

Home Access Center Building Configuration

Administration > HAC Setup > Setup > HAC Building Configuration > click Building link

For each building, complete the following fields as needed for guardians, students, or both:

• Check the Show Calendar checkbox.
• If the Calendar view should be limited to the school years specified in the Regular School Year to Display and Summer School Year to Display fields, check the Limit Calendar Range checkbox. Clear the checkbox to not limit the calendar range.
