Set up Discipline for Home Access

Your district can allow guardians and students to view selected behavior incidents recorded in eSchoolPlus. The district can also enable guardians and students to request that email alerts be sent to inform them of behavior incidents in which the student was involved.
Allowing guardians and students to view discipline incidents
Home Access Center Building Configuration
Administration > HAC Setup > Setup > HAC Building Configuration > click Building link
For each building, in the Configuration panel's Behavior section, complete the following fields as needed for guardians, students, or both:
- Check the Show Behavior Incidents box.
- In the Limit Incident Codes to field, select codes from the drop down list, or click the asterisk to select all codes, then remove those you do not want to include.
- Check the Show Current Year Only box to limit incidents to those from the current school year. If the box is not checked, HAC users can choose to display incidents from either the current year or all years.
Enabling email alerts for discipline incidents

Administration > HAC Setup > Setup > HAC Building Configuration > click Building link
For each building, in the Email Alerts panel's Behavior Alerts section, check the following boxes as needed:
- Send to Guardians
- Send to Students
Complete the section's additional fields to specify the frequency and content of the alerts.
If these fields are completed, guardians and students can indicate in HAC whether they want to receive the alerts and can specify the types of incidents they want to be notified about.
Enabling discipline alerts to display on HAC's Week View page

Administration > HAC Setup > Setup > HAC Building Configuration > click Building link
For each building, in the Configuration panel's Week View section, check the following boxes as needed for guardians, students, or both. Note that these alerts display as links in HAC's Week View page.
