Schedule Study Halls from Schedule Entry Grid

Use the Schedule Study Halls option on the Schedule Entry Grid page to fill in empty periods with study halls. After running the option for a student, review the Study Hall Scheduler Log for the results.

To schedule study halls for multiple students, use the Schedule Study Halls page (Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student Scheduler > Schedule Study Halls). For information, refer to Schedule Study Halls Page.

Note

If the student has a modeled schedule, you must click Keep to keep the schedule before using the Schedule Study Halls option. The process will run in a modeled state, but study halls will not be scheduled.

Schedule study halls

  1. Select Scheduling > Student Schedules > Student > Schedule Entry.
  2. If the Student Search Page displays, search for the appropriate student, then click the student's name link.
  3. On the Schedule Entry page, click Grid at the upper left.
  4. On the Grid page, click
     (Additional options), then select Schedule Study Halls.
  5. In the Schedule Study Halls window's Date Study Halls Added field, enter a date for adding the study halls.
  6. Click Fill.
  7. Use the Tasks/Reports options on the Navigation bar to view task status and retrieve reports.
