These tasks are completed on the Room page.

  1. Select Scheduling > Courses > Resources > Room to display the Room Catalog search page.
  2. If the desired building or room does not display on the Search Results panel, enter the appropriate values in the Search Criteria panel, and click Load at the top right of the page.
  3. In the Room column of the Search Results panel, click the room to display the Room page.
  4. Select Additional options at the top right of the Allocations panel, and click Reset Allocations.
  5. Click Save.

Change allocations for a room

  4. Click
(Expand) on the Allocations panel to display the current definitions.
  5. You can set allocations so they are the same for all marking periods, or you can set them separately for each marking period. You can toggle the display by clicking Additional options at the top right of the Allocations panel and selecting either Set Allocations for Individual Marking Periods or Set Allocations for All Marking Periods.
  6. Indicate a resource is available during a timeslot by entering the number of resources that may be scheduled in each Marking Period/Cycle Day/Period slot.
  7. Click Save.

Note
Typically, if a room is available to be scheduled during a timeslot, you would enter the number of available resources in the allocation field; however, if you set up course Combinations in the Master Schedule Builder, the combined course requires only one allocation, since the same resources are scheduled for the courses.
