Missing Submissions Page

Use this page to set up a scheduled task to run the Missing Submissions report to check for teachers who have not submitted any data for Attendance, Report Cards, Progress Reports, or Student Competencies. For more information on the Missing Submissions reports, refer to Missing Submissions Overview.

Scheduling a report allows you to set up how you want to run the report and then run the report in off-peak times. You can specify the days and time that you want the report to run. When you save a schedule, a scheduled task is created with a system owner of TWS_ADMIN.

Example Schedule

A building takes attendance in the morning and after lunch. Each weekday, the teacher's attendance data for the morning should be entered and saved by 9:30 a.m.; the attendance data for the afternoon should be entered and saved by 1:30 p.m. The building runs two missing submission reports per day, one at 10:00 a.m., and one at 2:00 p.m. The Attendance panel of the Missing Submissions page will have two schedule entries: one at 10:00 a.m. for morning attendance, and one at 2:00 p.m. for both.

View missing submission schedules

  1. Select Administration > Attendance Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions or Administration > Mark Reporting Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions.
  2. If the search page displays, search for the building, then click its link.

Add missing submission schedules

  1. Select Administration > Attendance Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions or Administration > Mark Reporting Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions.
  2. If the search page displays, search for the building, then click its link.
  3. To auto generate schedules for every attendance periods, click
    (Expand) on the Auto Generate Options section of the Attendance panel. Complete the fields in this section and, then click Load.
    This section only displays if the building does not use timetables for attendance period.
  4. Complete fields in the blank row at the bottom.
  5. Click Save.

Change missing submission schedules

  1. Select Administration > Attendance Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions or Administration > Mark Reporting Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions.
  2. If the search page displays, search for the building, then click its link.
  3. Change values as needed.
  4. Click Save.

Disable missing submission schedules

  1. Select Administration > Attendance Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions or Administration > Mark Reporting Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions.
  2. If the search page displays, search for the building, then click its link.
  3. Click the Waiting status for a schedule to disable it.
  4. Click Save.

Delete missing submission schedules

  1. Select Administration > Attendance Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions or Administration > Mark Reporting Setup > Setup > Missing Submissions.
  2. If the search page displays, search for the building, then click its link.
  3. Select the
     (Delete) checkbox for each record to delete.
  4. Click Save.

Fields

Attendance Panel

Use the fields in this panel to define the schedules for running the Attendance Missing Submissions report.

Auto Generate Options Section

This section displays if the building is configured to not use the timetable for attendance periods. To generate scheduled tasks for each attendance period, enter values in these fields and, then click Load.

(Number) minutes after

Enter the number of minutes to use to generate the schedule.

(Start Or End) of Period

Select whether the schedule should be based on the start time or end time of the period.

Include previous periods in each scheduled task

Checked if the scheduled task generated for a period should include all prior attendance periods.

Attendance Schedule Section

Description

The time at which the process should begin. Enter the time in HH:MM format using 24-hour time, for example 14:30 for 2:30 p.m.

Days of Week (Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat)

Checkboxes display for the days of the week. To schedule the report to run on a day, select its checkbox.

Attendance Periods

The attendance periods that the Missing Submission report will check for submissions.

Select codes from the field's drop-down list, or click

(asterisk) to select all codes, then remove any that do not apply.

Status

Indicates if the scheduled task is waiting to run or disabled. Click the current status to switch between the statuses of Waiting and Disabled.

(Delete)

To delete a record, select the row's Delete checkbox, then click Save. The checkbox only displays for records that are not in use.

Report Cards Panel

Use the fields in this panel to define the schedules for running the Report Cards Missing Submissions report.
