eSchoolPlus 21.4.8.0 Release

Required Actions: Data Correction for Student District-Defined Pages

To ensure that district-defined pages enforce date and numeric values appropriately, data must be corrected in District Defined Setup for district-defined fields for Student pages where:

  • The district-defined field is defined with Field Type set to User Defined.
  • The district-defined field selected in Field is defined as a date or number field.
  1. Identify the fields that need to be updated by reviewing the district-defined fields to find any existing district-defined fields defined with Field Type set to User Defined and display a field that is defined as a date or number.
  2. On the District-Defined page, select to edit the field.
  3. In the Field Type field, select Input.
  4. Re-select the User Defined option to reset the Data section of the page correctly.
  5. Apply the changes to the field.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for any other fields on the district-defined page that need to be updated.
  7. Click Save.

If you do not complete these steps, the field Data type will not be set appropriately for these district-defined fields and users will not be forced to choose a Date or number when entering data for a student.
