Audit Trail Summary Report Page

Use this page to run the Audit Trail Summary report. The report enables staff to review attendance, including both original and corrected entries.

You can select attendance by intervals, such as marking period or month, or by date range. The report includes attendance and entry dates, the class periods and buildings selected, student names and IDs, attendance sources, attendance codes, dismissal/arrival times, and the users who entered the attendance. You can also limit the report to bottomline entries.

Prerequisite

Verify that all attendance information you want to include in your report has been entered. If teachers enter attendance in Teacher Access Center, you can run Attendance > All > Reports > Missing Submission

to see who has not submitted data.

Run Audit Trail Summary Report

  1. Select Attendance > All > Reports > Audit Trail Summary.
  2. Specify the report options.
  3. Click Run.
  4. Use the Tasks/Reports options on the Navigation bar to view task status and retrieve reports.

Building List

Buildings to include in the report.

Select codes from the field's drop-down list, or click

(asterisk) to select all codes, then remove any that do not apply.

Attendance Date

Specify the attendance interval or dates to print.

Select:

Interval - to select an attendance interval.
Date Range - to run the report for a range of dates. To include data from previous years, enter a check in the Include previous years box.

Include previous years

Checked if you want to include previous years in your date range. This field can be accessed only if Date Range is selected.

Attendance Period

The attendance periods to include in the report.

Select codes from the field's drop-down list, or click

(asterisk) to select all codes, then remove any that do not apply.

Bottomline Only

Checked if you want to include only the official bottom line attendance entry. Your building administrator has selected whether the office entry or teacher entry is the bottom line entry.

Absence Legend

Checked if you want to include a legend of absence codes and descriptions on the report.

Group By

Determines how attendance is printed.

Select:

Attendance Date - to list each date as a heading, with students listed beneath date.
Building - to list each building as a heading, with students listed by building.
Student - to list each student as a heading, with students in alphabetical order.
Entered User - to list each entry person's name as a heading, followed by attendance in date order.

Page Break On Group

Checked if you want the report to break to a new page after each change in the grouping selected in the Group By field.

Unchecked if the report may include information for multiple groupings on the same page.

File Type

Select whether you want to print the report to a PDF or Excel file.

Task/Report Name

Enter a name that will help you identify this task/report in eSchoolPlus. Character/255

Log Statistics

Checked if you want to print the prompts in a log file. Otherwise, a log file will be created only if an error occurs.
