Attendance Validation Tables

District Group

Defines the types of groups your district uses to combine attendance information. For example, if you want a total of excused absences, you might create a group to combine field trip, college visits, and medical excused absences.  Validates the District Group field in the Attendance Code record.

Indicates if the code should be available when a user modifies a record.

If your district requirements change and you no longer want to use a code, remove the checkmark from the Active checkbox. Users will no longer be able to select the code when maintaining records.

SIF Status

Defines the SIF Attendance Status codes for attendance codes in your district. This table defines the valid excused statuses for SIF; for example, Excused, Unexcused, and unknown. In the Code field, you must enter the code exactly as it is defined in the SIF Specifications. Validates the SIF Status field in the Attendance Code record.
