Submission Periods Information
Administration > General Setup > District > Validation Tables > select Pennsylvania State Reporting
The Submission Periods validation table is used to control what Start and End Dates are defaulted on the PIMS Download page.
You must not change the Code value on this screen, but you can change the Description and Start/End Dates. The Start and End Dates will show up as default values on the download page, although you can always update those fields prior to running the download.
The Stu Snap Date is an optional field, to be used when it is required that the Snapshot Date field reported in the Student Snapshot be a date other than the End Snapshot Date. The Stu Snap Date is not used for any download processing. If no value is entered, the Range End Date will be reported in the Snapshot Date field.
In any of the Date fields, you must enter the slashes. For example, if you want to use June 30, 2017 as the End Snapshot Date, type "06/30/2017".
You do not need to enter anything in the Data Type field.
You may inactivate records by clearing the Active box if you don't want them to be available on the PIMS Download and Extract pages.
NOTE: We recommend you update the Start/End Snapshot Dates & Stu Snap Date per PIMS requirements prior to the start of each school year.
