For MOSIS State Reporting, you should consider the following:
- You need to calculate your attendance totals as Minutes.
- When you run the MOSIS download process, you are asked for the following Attendance View Types: Regular, Remedial, Summer School and Truancy. Depending on your District's operations, you may have all of these situations or several of these types of Attendance Views.
- If you have buildings with remedial or after school periods, you can set them up as a separate building for these periods (MBS Buildings on Attendance View Setup--Multiple Building Schedule building) or you can set up a different attendance view that only calculates for the afterschool period. If you do this, the buildings have to have the same period values.
- For the non-remedial attendance views, your Attendance View should have at least the two criteria listed below.
Criteria Detail – Row 1 – Calculate present minutes for students who are not absent for a day |
