Grade Level

Select the grade level for the course.

HSA Subject Area

Select the appropriate HSA Subject Area, or if none applies choose 'N' for No HSA.

Course Placement

Select AP or Honors if the designation applies.

MSA Subject Area

Select the appropriate MSA Subject Area, or if none applies choose 'N' for No MSA.

Lower Grade Span

Enter the lowest grade for which this course is available.

Upper Grade Span

Enter the highest grade for which this course is available.

Course Content Standard

Select the content standard for the course.

Assessed Content Area

Select the assessed content area for the course.

HS Course Requirement

Checked if the course is required for a high school diploma.

EOC Exam

Checked if the course has an end-of-course examination required by the LEA.

Family and Consumer Science

Checked if the course is associated with the Family and Consumer Sciences plan of study.

Tech Ed Indicator

Select the option to indicate if the course is applicable to General Technology Education, Advanced Technology Education, or none.

Delivery Type

Select the option to indicate the primary setting or medium of delivery for the course.

Instructional Language

Select the primary language of instruction used in the course.

IPEDS School Code

If applicable, select the school code for the associated institution where the college-level or dual-credit course is takes place.

Course Level

Select the course level to indicate the nature or difficulty of the course.

Exclude from MCC

If checked, the course will not be included in the Maryland Course Catalog (MCC) download.

CIP Code

Select the appropriate CIP Code for the course. We have loaded all CIP Codes into the MD CIP Codes validation table.  You should only select codes that are on the school's "List A". 

Concentrator

Checked if the course is considered a concentrator course.

PARCC Test

Select the PARCC test associated with the course section.

Test Format

Select the test format:
