How to Create the State Files

Regulatory > CALPADS > Download/Upload > Create CALPADS Extract/State Files

• The information in the Submission Files and Filter areas of the page will change based on the value in the "Select Downloads for" prompt.
• The Census Date will be specified by the State for Fall submissions. The Fall Census Date is the first Wednesday of October. The system will use this date to ensure that only students enrolled on or before this date are included in the files.
• The State Files checkbox tells the system to produce the files that will be sent to the State once errors have been corrected.
