CA Course Class Size

Regulatory > Reports > Reports > CA Class Size Report
Use this report to get a csv file with the total number of students in a course for each day that the class meets. The file will also include grade and section averages. If you want to create the file for a prior school year, you must change the Environment Year.

Building List

Select All or a particular building

Start Date and End Date

These dates are used to control the YTD Grade Average and YTD Section Average columns in the csv file. If you want averages from the first day of school to October 1, then you would leave the Start Date blank and enter 10/1 in the End Date field. If you want average data for the month of October, you would enter 10/1 in the Start Date field and 10/31 in the End Date field. If you want average data from 1/1 to the end of the school year, enter 1/1 in the Start Date and leave the End Date blank.

The csv file will have two header rows:

The header rows contain the School Year from your environment and the values being used for the YTD column calculations—in this case I left the Start Date blank and entered 9/17/2009 in the End Date field. If you entered Filter criteria, that is shown in the second row.
The columns in the csv file are described in the following table:
